Introduction

This project is the drawing assignment of a jacket showing different methods of line to use creating texture and value to the drawing. The assignment makes us look at how line with different sizes and consistencies can create an impact of making things look realistic. Simple methods of drawing lines for example: hatching, cross-hatching, spirals, and over-lapping creates an effect on you making the jacket to look as if it was real that you could feel it.
Preparation

For this assignment to get started three basic things were required. A dip pen, India ink, and a bond layout paper pad.
Stages
To get an idea of how to start our jacket I sketched out an idea on a paper as sketching your ideas on paper gives you a clear vision of how you want things to be and how they will turn out.
This is an image of when the drawing is in progress and I was working on it.
Final Work
This is the final piece of drawing.
Conclusion

I enjoyed working through this project as it made me realise that how a small amount of something can create into something just by repeating those units over and over again. Just small number of lines can create an effect on your eyes.
